Pollen time

I'm sure that I write about this every spring, but I don't think it's possible to live in North Carolina and not talk about the pollen. It just explodes and covers everything. I've never lived anywhere with anything that approaches it.

It's a black railing, coated in yellow pollen.

The parking lot is covered in a film of pollen. You can see the tracks where cars have driven through. Wednesday night, driving into downtown Raleigh, there were billowing clouds of pollen drifting across the road.

It's more obvious on my neighbor's dark-colored jeep than on my little green car.
