CWE: "The Bridge On The River Kwai" (1957)

The first of another sub-genre that I quite enjoy: WWII POW films.

Summary: British World War II POWs build a railway bridge for their captors in Burma, while an Allied plan aims to destroy it.

I genuinely wonder what I'm going to have to say about this movie. A great movie with great actors. My love of William Holden knows no bounds. Alec Guinness, directed by David Lean ... what more could you want?

Madness.
